I generally enjoy it. It stands up well at higher temperatures, but because it is not completely sealed. The water tends to boil off over time. If you’re keeping it near boiling, use it fast. My only other complaint is that when you remove the lid, the vent holes are on the lid. Regardless of which side they face, discharge hot vapour on your hands. This is fine at lower temperatures, but if you are refilling. If the water has been at higher temperatures, you will most likely be scalded. Use gloves or move fast.

I bought this kettle again since the last one broke when the gooseneck spout detached from the joint at the connecting point, most likely because we never demineralized it. The old kettle was 1.5L in size, but this smaller one works just as well.

This tea kettle is both attractive and useful. The kettle, on the other hand, does not readily fit on the base. When you remove it and then return it, you must fit the kettle perfectly into a peg on the base otherwise it will not be stable. I don’t enjoy having to fiddle with it to get it to sit properly. It was also upset that there were two labels in prominent areas on the kettle and lid that were difficult to remove and then clean. I have high hopes for this firm.
