Joe Ingles Biography
Joseph Howarth Ingles (born 2 October 1987) is an Australian professional basketball player for the National Basketball Association’s Milwaukee Bucks (NBA). He was most recently with the Utah Jazz. Joe also plays for Australia’s national team. He primarily fills the roles of small forward and shooting guard. He is the Utah Jazz’s all-time leading three-point shooter.
Ingles was a member of Australia’s bronze-medal-winning basketball team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Ingles, who was born in the Adelaide suburb of Happy Valley, played junior basketball for the Southern Tigers and went to Springbank Secondary College (then called Pasadena High School). With future Boomers teammates Brad Newley and Patty Mills, Ingles attended both Lake Ginninderra College and the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra. From 2005 to 2006, he was a member of the AIS in the South East Australian Basketball League.
