Saddiq Bey High School Career
Drewana Bey, a former high school principal who played collegiate basketball at Charlotte, is Bey’s mother. His first year was spent in DeMatha Catholic High School before transferring to Sidwell Friends School. He was a member of D.C. Premier’s AAU team. He was 5’9 as a freshman and grew throughout high school. As a junior, Bey averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals per game to help Sidwell win the league championship.
