Thanasis Antetokounmpo Biography
Athanasios Rotimi “Thanasis” Antetokounmpo[a] (born Adetokunbo;[b] July 18, 1992) is a Greek professional basketball player for the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks (NBA). He is listed at 6 feet 7 inches and plays small forward and power forward. He is the older brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo, the two-time NBA MVP, as well as Kostas Antetokounmpo and Alex Antetokounmpo.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo Early Career

Antetokounmpo was born to Nigerian parents in Athens, Greece, and grew up in the Sepolia neighborhood. Charles, his late father, was a former Nigerian association football player, and Veronica, his mother, is a former high jumper. His parents are from different ethnic groups in Nigeria. Veronica is Igbo, and Charles is Yoruba. On May 9, 2013,[38], he was granted Greek citizenship, and his surname was legally spelled Antetokounmpo.
