F.C. Guangzhou
A competitive Chinese football team, Guangzhou Football Club, previously Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club, competes in the Chinese Super League with permission from the Chinese Football Association. The squad is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and the Tianhe Stadium, which has a 54,856 occupancy, serves as their home field. The Evergrande Real Estate Group (56.71%) and the e-commerce firm Alibaba Group (37.81%) are their largest shareholders, while its remaining shares are listed in the Chinese OTC market.
The club was established in 1954, and before going professional in 1993, it won a number of second-tier championships. Their performance rose, earning them a place as runners-up in China’s top division. The club experienced a phase of stagnation and deterioration due to its inability to build upon these performances before briefly experiencing a rebirth when they won the second tier in 2007. The club was penalized with demotion in 2009 when a match-fixing allegations surfaced.
The Evergrande Real Estate Group made the decision to buy the club and invested a sizable sum of money in the group. The team won the AFC Champions League twice, in 2013 and 2015, making it the only Chinese football team to do so. On October 26, 1977, Guangzhou made the uncommon decision to withdraw from the Chinese Football League and hired Luo Rongman to lead their young team in its place.

Atlético Mineiro of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A stated on June 30, 2010, that Guangzhou had paid a Brazilian record sum of 23 million to recruit Muriqui to a four-year contract.
Following defeating Hunan Billows 3-1 on October 30, 2010, Guangzhou won League One for a 2nd occasion and moved back to the Super League.
With the acquisition of Brazilian Cléo and Argentine Dario Conca during the 2011–12 campaign, Guangzhou Evergrande greatly bolstered their team.

Tyias Charles Browning, also recognized as Jiang Guangtai (Chinese: ; pinyin: Jing Gungtài), was born on May 27, 1994. He currently serves as a defender for Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League. He was cantonese-born in Liverpool, England, and has played for the China national team from 2020.
Browning is capable of playing as a right-back as well as a center-back.

Everton
At the age of 10, Browning did join Everton in 2004. Prior to actually entering Everton, he spent his first 8 months working for the native team. Browning started playing for Everton’s backup team after moving up through the youth ranks, where he eventually established himself as a regular. In the 2010–11 season, he then assisted Everton Reserves in capturing the U18 Premier League championship.
Browning grew at the club’s backup, where he spent his entire time playing right-back for the team. As he advances, Browning will also wear the captain’s armband for the team’s backups. At the club’s end-of-season awards ceremony for the 2013–14 season, Browning was named the Under-21s Player of the Season.
He received his first call-up to the first team on December 30, 2012, when Everton fell to Chelsea 2-1 and he was an inactive replacement.
Browning and the team agreed to his first professional deal on July 26, 2013, which would last through 2015.
In Nov 2016, as Everton U23 fell to Norwich City 4-1 in the Premier League Cup, Browning played 45 mins following a protracted absence from the field. In a subsequent encounter, Browning made his final outing for the club, starting the entire match as a right-back as Wigan Athletic fell to Doncaster Rovers 3-0.
He then went back to his parent team, Everton.
On July 8, 2017, Browning signed a one-year contract to play for demoted Sunderland, where he was reconnected with manager Simon Grayson after the two had played together at Preston North End. In the season opener against Derby County, a 1-1 tie, he earned his Sunderland appearance, starting the entire match.
Upon earning his Sunderland appearance, Browning has cemented himself as a center-back in the team’s starting lineup. But, Sunderland soon discovered that they were having trouble in the league and were at the bottom of the standings. On November 18, 2017, against Millwall, he made his comeback to the first team upon missing the entire month of October due to injury. Under Chris Coleman’s new leadership, Browning proceeded to play for the first team.
Browning’s productivity increased under Coleman, and the team benefitted from his 4 clean sheets. Browning kept playing for the first team up to the 3-0 defeat to Aston Villa on March 6, 2018, when he sustained a groin problem that hampered him for the remainder of the campaign. Sunderland battled in the competition without him for the remainder of the campaign, which resulted in their demotion to League One.
Browning made a total of 29 outings across all categories by the close of the 2017–18 season.
Guangzhou Evergrande
Browning moved to Guangzhou Evergrande in the Chinese Super League on Feb 20, 2019, for an unknown sum. He earned his club appearance on March 5, 2019, in a 2-0 AFC Champions League victory at home over Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
