He is an Argentine football manager who played formerly as a forward.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bustos recorded 32 appearances in the Primera Divisi\u00f3n <\/a>with Lan\u00fas <\/a>and Belgrano<\/a> and featured mainly for local clubs Also, he featured for Uruguayan side Nacional, Bolivian side Jorge Wilstermann and Ecuadorian sides Deportivo Quito, Mascara, Manta and Deportivo Saquisil\u00ed. However, he retired with Estudiantes de Buenos Aires, back in his home country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 2009, Manta appointed him<\/a> as their manager after working as an assistant manager, prior to his retirement. But in 2022, Santos<\/a> appointed him as their manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In 1986, the C\u00f3rdoba<\/a>n born player started his senior career with local side San Lorenzo de C\u00f3rdoba. In 1990, he<\/a> came back to the side after joining Argentino de Marcos Ju\u00e1rez in 1989. After a short spell in Uruguay with Nacional, he joined Primera B Nacional <\/a>side Almirante Brown the next year.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Bustos<\/a> moved to Primera Divisi\u00f3n side Lan\u00fas <\/a>in 1992 where he was inconsistent. He later moved to fellow league team Belgrano <\/a>in 1994. The following five seasons, he featured for second division clubs Deportivo Mor\u00f3n, Juventus Antonian, Atl\u00e9tico Tucuman and Cipolletti. He later moved abroad to Bolivian club Jorge Wilsterman<\/a> in 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He joined Ecuadorian side Deportivo Quito that same year before featuring for<\/p>\n\n\n\n Manta<\/a>,<\/a> <\/a>Macar\u00e1<\/a> <\/a>and Deportivo Saquisil\u00ed<\/a> <\/a>in the country. He later returned to Argentina with El Porvenir in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Bustos retired at age 36, just a year after joining Estudiantes de Buenos Aires<\/a> in 2005.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On 15 July 2009, Manta appointed Bustos as their manager. He previously served as assistant manager at Sarmiento,<\/a> El Porvenir and Acassuso<\/a>. He left the club on a mutual agreement on 8 December 2010.
