They perform at Horsens’ Casa Arena. As a superstructure of Horsens fS, Stensballe IK, and FC Horsens, the club was thus established in 1994. Later, just Horsens fS left in the collaboration<\/a> after Stensballe IK and FC Horsens both quit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Horsens fS had finished sixth in the 1994\u20131995 1st Division<\/a> season when the new squad began to play in 1994. Thus, AC Horsens became eligible to compete in the 1994 Qualifying League for promotion to the 1994\u201395 Superliga<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n AC Horsens missed out on the chance to receive an automatic promotion<\/a> to the Superliga since they only won two of their 14 games and placed bottom in the Qualifying League<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the latter part of the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, AC Horsens became a regular member of the Danish 1st Division. After just one match<\/a>, they were however demoted from the First Division and were unable to advance to the Qualification<\/a> League.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The team played in the 2nd Division for two seasons before being re-admitted to the Danish Superliga<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The team was on the verge of being demoted to the 2nd Division<\/a> after the winter break midway through the season, but a strong finish to the campaign<\/a> achieved an 11th place finish, seven points clear of the bottom three.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Before ultimately being promoted<\/a> to the Superliga in 2005, the team was demoted to the 2nd Division in 1994, 2001, and 2003. Kasmpa\u015fa in Turkey came first, then Norwich City in England. He then relocated to Denmark to play<\/a> for Vejle BK. Also for a two-footed lunge on Yakubu against Leicester City<\/a> on his debut, he was dismissed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He only played once for the team, and in February he went back to Norwich<\/a>. He did not return to his parent club either, and the club released him after his contract expired<\/p>\n\n\n\n In August 2011, Askou agreed to a two-year deal with Vejle Boldklub Kolding in the Danish first division<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He made 55 games for Vejle during his time there and was named club captain<\/a> in the summer of 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On August 2, 2013, Askou however agreed to a two-year contract with Esbjerg in the Danish Superliga for an unknown sum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asko joined Skive IK as the playing assistant manager<\/a> in 2015. He accepted the same post at Thisted FC a year later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n At Vendsyssel FF, Askou was also appointed Erik Rasmussen’s deputy manager<\/a> in June 2017. Asko took over as manager when Rasmussen announced his resignation on May 8th, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asko was fired following an overall loss to AC Horsens in the Danish Superliga<\/a> relegation play-off games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asko joined Denmark Series 4 amateur team TIF All Stars in October 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was however announced at the beginning of November 2019 that Askou would take over as manager<\/a> of HB Thorshavn in the Faroe Islands on December 1, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On December 5, 2020, a year later, he and HB T\u00f3rshavn had won the double. Consequently, the Faroe Islands Cup was won after first winning the Faroe Islands Premier League<\/a>.
