‘Superfly’ actor sentenced to 50 years to life in prison for multiple rapes

A rapper from Los Angeles who appeared in the 2018 film “SuperFly” was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison on Monday. This was after being found guilty of sexually abusing seven women , three of whom were minors.
Kaalan Walker, 27, was also instructed to register as a lifelong sex offender for the string of offences that began in 2013.
On April 18, a Van Nuys jury found the performer guilty of three charges of forced rape, two counts of improper sexual contact with a juvenile, two counts of raping a victim who was intoxicated, and also one count of assault with the purpose to conduct oral copulation. Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace said that she considers Walker to be a “true predator” for his attacks on young girls and teens between 2013 and 2018.
