Prerequisites for registration into the S.C. Braga Youth Academy

Evaluation trials will be done by our qualified coaching team at our location in Portugal. These competitions are meant to evaluate each player’s technical proficiency, tactical acumen, and physical characteristics.

Each participant is required to bring their own soccer cleats, shin guards, water bottle, and packed lunch.

Criteria for Admission to the S.C. Braga Youth Academy

You must have a love for soccer in order to be eligible for the S.C Braga Youth Academy. Athletes must also be between the ages of 12 and 18. Additionally, you must be able to commit to regularly showing up for trials and training sessions.

Aspirants are also required to maintain excellent marks in school. They must also abide by all academy regulations if they are chosen for the academy. You will also enroll in courses at the school to learn things like algebra, biology, chemistry, English and Portuguese language arts, among other things. Striker’s Class, another required course, focuses on developing one’s abilities as an attacker.

Six teams make up the S.C. Braga Youth Academy: U-12 (6–8 years old), U-14 (9–11 years old), U-16 (12–14 years old), U-18 (15–17 years old), and two national teams—one for boys and one for females. Throughout the season, all teams practice twice weekly and play games every weekend either domestically or overseas as needed.

Sporting Clube de Braga
