Six Nigerian players will now play regularly for their individual teams in the EPL during the upcoming 2022–2023 season. The transfer market is now closed . We did not witness another miracle deadline day signing like Odion Ighalo’s switch to Manchester United.
The current top six Nigerian players in England are listed below:

Wilfred Ndidi (Leicester City)

Nigerian footballer Wilfred Ndidi competes for Leicester City in the Premier League. The 25-year-old plays as a defensive midfielder and is renowned for his athleticism and long shots. Ndidi left Belgian club Genk in 2017 to join Leicester. He quickly established himself as a major member of the team. He was also crucial to the Foxes’ first-ever FA Cup victory in the 2020–21 season.

Iheanacho contributed to the historic FA Cup and Community Shield victories for the Foxes. He also ended the year as his team’s leading scorer.
