We established our Shanghai youth football academy in 2012 because we believed Shanghai’s older youth lacked any possibilities to play outside of their school matches.

We initially scheduled exhibition games between our seasoned team and the U18 team. Additionally, we took part in a competition hosted by the Shanghai Football Association. Then, at Century Park, we begin to schedule routine training sessions.

We were delighted to participate when the SPL U19 11-aside game began. As athletes in their last exam year will have less spare playtime, this paradigm (older kids) ultimately proved difficult to retain. They could only compete with us for a maximum of one or two years because the majority of them will leave China for higher studies.

Our Junior Teams

There are currently 2 separate age groups.
1. Shanghai U18: This team consists of boys and girls between the ages of 15 and 18.

Tournament

On Saturdays in Jinqiao Pudong, our young teams compete in the Shanghai Premier League (SPL Youth). Youth Super Cup and Development are additional events.

The season typically runs from mid-October to early June.

The fact that we are a club and provide players with possibilities to perform at a rising level puts Lions Youth Academy excluding the competition. For instance, good U15 athletes can join the U18 team, and good U18 athletes can join the senior team.

Training Season

On Wednesday and Friday each week, we hold training sessions. The season typically begins in late August and lasts until early June.

Beijing Shenhua Football Club

A qualified football team from China named Shanghai Shenhua F.C. competes in the Chinese Super League with permission from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). Shen is one of the nicknames for Shanghai, and Hua signifies flowers in Chinese. So the phrase shen hua is directly interpreted as “the Flower of Shanghai” in English. The Hongkou Football Stadium, where the team plays at home, has a 33,060 occupancy and is located in Kangqiao, Shanghai. Chinese real estate developer Greenland Group, who acquired the 28.5 percent stake from former main stakeholder Zhu Jun in 2014, is their dominant shareholder and is now in charge of running the club.

Shanghai F.C., a semi-pro team managed by the municipality, was the club’s forerunner. The team mainly competed in the top division, where they won numerous local league and cup championships. One of the founder’s members of the first entirely competitive top division in China, the club underwent a reorganization on Dec 10 to become an entirely pro football club so they could compete in the 1994 Chinese JiaA League season. Background

Earliest club

East China was the initial identity of Shanghai Shenhua’s precursor. And it was first applied to a football team at the 1910 Chinese National Games.

In order to compete in China’s first completely nationalized national football league competition, where they came second in the division that year, the native Shanghai government sports body opted to use this identity for their new club, which was created on 1 November 1951. The football division progressively grew, and in 1957 the team was permitted to adopt the name Shanghai after their actual province.

Shanghai claimed its first league championship in 1961, which marked the beginning of its ascent to the status of significant Chinese football power. The Chinese Cultural Revolution put an end to football in China in 1966, so Shanghai was unable to play. This was swiftly accompanied by their 2nd league championship in 1962. Shanghai was able to come back to the top division when football was allowed to resume in China. But they were incapable of recapturing any of the past superiority and were even demoted in 1980.

Although they were swiftly raised in the succeeding season, they went many years without absolutely winning any trophies. Wang Houjun did lead them to their 1st prize in 29 years—the Chinese FA Cup—in 1991.

Professionalism

Six days afterward, it was revealed that his fellow countryman Jean Tigana would take over as manager for the 2012 campaign. After a succession of unsuccessful performances, Tigana was dismissed, and Sergio Batista, a previous coach of Argentina’s national team, took over as the squad’s manager. Didier Drogba, an Ivorian striker, inked a 2½-year contract with Shenhua following a good season performing for Chelsea and earning the 2011–12 UEFA Champions League.

Soccer player Giovanni Moreno from Colombia’s national team Racing Club was quickly acquired in the wake of this. With these additions, Zhu Jun’s investment in the team increased to 150 million Yuan, which he claimed gave him a majority stake of 70% as guaranteed by the other shareholders and would strengthen the club’s title race. Zhu Jun agreed to discontinue financing the club after the other shareholders declined to approve of this deal, which led to the team’s disheartening ninth-place performance and the departures of both Anelka and Drogba.

At the start of the 2013 league campaign, the Chinese FA penalized the club with a 6-point subtraction and a one million Yuan punishment for match-fixing 10 years earlier, further fracturing the ties between Zhu Jun and the other shareholders. Due to a financial disparity in the club’s earnings, Rolando Schiavi, Patricio Toranzo, and Giovanni Moreno declined to perform in the league match against Liaoning Whowin on March 31, 2013, due to uncompensated wages. This would result in a shareholder disagreement between the other shareholders, SVA, Shanghai Media Group, Shanghai Electric Group, and Huangpu SASAC over who should pay for this fine.

Greenland

The club was acquired by Greenland Holding Group Company Limited on Jan 31, 2014, marking the close of the Zhu Jun tenure. It was believed that keeping Shenhua in the actual team name would placate the supporters by remarking on the club’s history when Greenland Holding Group Company Limited stated on February 6th that the club’s name will change to “Shanghai Greenland FC, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua squad”. This was unsuccessful.

Several of the club’s supporters expressed their displeasure in public on March 9, 2014, during the league match against Shanghai Shenxin. They had seen the removal of Shenhua from the club name as a smudge on the team’s history and identity. Following badge changes that removed Shenhua from the team’s logo brought harsh condemnation from several of the supporters. The club formally unveiled a new team emblem on July 18, 2014, caving into fan demand by reintroducing Shenhua into the team logo and changing the club’s identity to “Shanghai Greenland Shenhua Football Club.”

Tim Cahill revealed on Feb 3, 2015, that the Shenhua had recruited him away from the New York Red Bulls, 3 days afterward the Australian national football team claimed the AFC Asian Cup. Tim Cahill signed a one-year deal renewal in Nov 2015. But on Feb 16, 2016, he posted on Instagram that the new coach, Gregorio Manzano, had revoked it.

Beyond stating that he was “not part of the new coach Manzano’s plans for the 2016 season,” no other explanation for his dismissal was provided.

On December 6, 2019, Shanghai Shenhua defeated Shandong Luneng 3–0 to win the 2019 Chinese FA Cup, giving the Blues a 3–1 overall win. Shenhua has won the title on five occasions, the 2nd time in the last 3 years following their 2017 Chinese FA Cup victory over Shanghai SIPG, a local competitor.

The CFA started its “neutral name campaign” in 2021, which mandates that professional clubs change to labels that do not identify their sponsors. The club has had various sponsor prefixes and suffixes over the past 30 years. But always being known publicly as “Shenhua,” including “Greenland Shenhua” and “Shenhua SVA.” On Feb 9, 2021, club proprietor Greenland changed the club’s identity back to “Shanghai Shenhua F.C.” with no prefixes or suffixes in response to the demand for neutral identities.

About Three Towns F.C. of Wuhan

Wuhan Three Towns Football Club (Chinese: 武汉三镇足球俱乐部) is a professional Chinese football club that presently engages in the Chinese Super \sLeague. The group is headquartered in Hubei’s Wuhan.

Background

In 2013, Wuhan Shangwen (Simplified Chinese: ) was founded, with a primary emphasis on the improvement of young athletes. Pedro Morilla Pineda, a former Spanish midfielder who was born on October 31, 1972, serves as the interim manager of Wuhan Three Towns.

Playing Experience

Morilla, who was raised in Seville, Andalusia, has played for Real Betis and Sevilla FC. He transferred to Segunda División B side Écija Balompié in 1994 upon earning his senior appearance with CD Mairena and made sporadic appearances as his side was promoted to Segunda División.

On December 3, 1995, Morilla made his second-level appearance by playing the final 14 mins of his team’s 1–2 home defeat against CD Leganés. The next July, he quit the team and moved with third-tier Talavera CF.

Patriotas Boyacá

Patriotas Boyacá, often known as Patriotas, is a Categora Primera A-level professional football team from Tunja, Colombia. The La Independencia stadium is where they have their home matches.

Background

Miguel Angel Bermdez, the then-governor of Boyacá, the then-chairman of Coldeportes, and the proprietors of the hardware company G&J formed Patriotas in 2003. The team advanced to the semifinals of the Primera B in their inaugural season before being defeated by Bogotá Chicó.

It was hosted in Santiago and included the winners of each country’s major national leagues.

Eligibility

The majority of teams make the cut for the Copa Libertadores by acquiring half-year contests known as the Apertura and Clausura, or by wrapping up among the top teams in their respective championships.

Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela are among the countries that use this template.

Differing from most other international competitions, the Copa Libertadores has never used additional time or away goals.

If both teams are tied after 2 legs, a 3rd game will be held at a neutral location. Only if the 3rd game is a draw will goal difference be considered. A penalty shootout was utilized to decide a victor if the third game did not yield an outright champion.

Two-legged draws were determined on points, then goal difference, with an instant penalty shootout if the match was tied on overall following full-time in the return leg, starting in 1988.

The away goals rule was introduced by CONMEBOL in the 2005 season. The finals was now an exemption to the away goals rule in 2008, and additional time was used. From 1995 onwards, CONMEBOL embraced the “3 points for a victory” benchmark, a FIFA-adopted system that assigns greater value to wins. Teams now receive 3 points for a victory, one point for a tie, and zero points for a loss.

Championship

Currently, 47 clubs are participating over a 6-8 month span in the present tournament. There are 3 phases: the preliminary round, the second round, and the knockout round.

Twelve clubs compete in a series of two-legged knockout matches in the first round. In the 2nd level, the 6 survivors meet 26 clubs and are split up into 8 categories of 4. The teams in each category compete in a double round-robin format, with each team facing every other team in their group both at home and away. The knockout phase, which comprises of two-legged knockout fixtures, is then determined for the leading 2 teams from each category.

The game then moves forward in two-legged knockout fixtures to the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals.

The former champions did not participate in the contest until the semifinal round between 1960 and 1987, rendering it considerably simpler to keep the trophy.

Brazilian sports club Sport Club Corinthians Paulista is based in the Tatuapé district of Sao Paulo. Stadiums; Early Grounds

A vacant lot owned by a firewood seller in the neighborhood of Bom Retiro (where the club was founded in 1910)is was the Corinthians first playing ground. Hence, the nickname Campo do Lenheiro (“Lumberjack’s field”). The players had to clean and flatten the lawn themselves as it was the time of the floodplain.

Ponte Grande, located on the banks of Tiete River was the first field officially inaugurated by Corinthians in January 1918. Deportes Tolima

Club Deportes Tolima S.A., also referred to as Deportes Tolima or just Tolima, is a professional football team from Colombia that is situated in Ibagué, Tolima Department, and competes in the Category Primera A at the moment.

For most of the period, Atlético Nacional topped the category, with Deportes Tolima always one point back. They came out on top following a thrilling 2-1 victory away at Atlético Nacional. And following a 2-0 victory against Boyacá Chicó, they went to the championship game against Cucuta Deportivo. The first match was played away in Ccuta, where Tolima failed 1-0. Tolima qualified for the 2006 Copa Sudamericana as they placed #5 altogether in the 2005 standings. The squad started the contest in the first round, defeating Independiente Medelln 4-2 overall. Tolima and Mineros de Guayana drew on the total in the following round. However, Tolima advanced to the following round based on away goals. The team’s opponent in the 3rd round was Pachuca. Whilst Pachuca went on to win the cup, Tolima was relegated from the tournament after winning the opening leg 2-1 at home however losing the return leg 5-1 in Mexico.

2007 League

The Hebei Zhongji Group acquired sole control of the club on October 17, 2011, and the Hebei FA-owned footballers were divided into a new team named Hebei Youth. This marked the end of the two organizations’ cooperative relationship. Hebei Zhongji won 18 games, drew five, and lost just once in the 2012 league season, finishing first in the North Group.

Though, they were eliminated from the Play-offs by Hubei China-Kyle with a tally of 1-1, having lost on the away goals rule.

China received two spots in the AFC Champions League when it was first introduced by the Asian Football Confederation in the 2002–03 season. 2009 saw a shift in the AFC Champions League eligibility process as 4 seats were given to China by the AFC. Roots

Shanghai Port F.C.

Shanghai Port FC is a professional football team that competes in the Chinese Super League. It was formerly known as Shanghai SIPG. They are also authorized to compete by the Chinese Football Association (CFA).

The group is situated in Shanghai’s Pudong district. However, they play at the Pudong Football Stadium, which can accommodate 37,000 spectators. Shanghai International Port Group, a Chinese company owns it (SIPG).

Shanghai East Asia FC

Former Chinese international footballer Xu Genbao created the club on December 25, 2005, under the name Shanghai East Asia FC. However, the Genbao Football Base, another football institution built by Xu, employed its former students as players.

In the 2006 league season, these graduates however established their first team as they also made their professional football league debut in China’s third tier.

In the 2018 Chinese Super League season, they made it to the top flight and won the league for the first time.

The turnaround

As the squad manager, Xu chose French young coach Claude Lowitz from the Base. The third-tier Chinese league system’s China League Two was thus where the team competed.

Claude Lowitz however left the club at the conclusion of 2006. Jiang Bingyao, a former assistant manager, was promoted to manager as a result.

League One: 2008–2012

Shanghai Port F.C.: The Manager

On February 7, 1978, Ivan Leko was born. He is now in charge of the Chinese Super League team Shanghai Port and is a professional football manager from Croatia.

A career in a Club

Leko’s career began with the Hajduk Split team in his hometown. He played there for a number of seasons before joining Málaga CF in Spain. He was loaned to HNK Trogir during his early senior year.

Leko returned to Hajduk in January 2005 for a brief period before joining Club Brugge in the summer. He made the decision to sign a deal with K.F.C. Germinal Beerschot on January 15, 2009. However He continued his career at K.S.C. Lokeren after his stint with the Antwerp side.

International Career

For the Croatian national football team, Leko made 13 appearances. In addition, he received a call-up to the team for the 2006 World Cup. He did not participate in the competition, though, as Croatia was eliminated in the group round.

Career in Management

With Oud-Heverlee Leuven, Leko made his managerial debut in 2014, but he only held the position for one season.

He joined the coaching staff of Croatian manager Igor Tudor in 2015 and is now also the assistant manager of the Greek team PAOK FC. But in 2016, he was fired.

Leko managed Sint-Truidense V.V. for one season in 2016–17, and Club Brugge for the following two seasons in 2017–18 and 2018–19. In his first year in Brugge, he celebrated the Jupiler Pro League as well as Belgian Super Cup.

Awards and Split up

Leko also received the Professional Manager of the Year award. He was questioned by Belgian police in October 2018 as part of a corruption probe.

Leko and Club Brugge KV split up in May 2019. The 41-year-old head coach joined the team in 2017.

He however started working at his new club, Al Ain, on June 1st, 2019. After a catastrophic home loss to Al Dhafra FC in December 2019, Leko quit the club Al Ain FC. After five months of subpar performance, both parties had decided to call it quits.

Chinese Super League

Chinese competitive football club Chengdu Rongcheng Football Club is situated in Chengdu, Sichuan.

The club is presently licensed by the Chinese Football Association to compete in the Chinese Super League tier (CFA)

Chengdu Rongcheng F.C. Background

The team was elevated to the second-tier China League One in 2 years after placing second in the 2018 Chinese Champions League and 2019 China League Two consecutively. The club was established on March 7, 2018, by Chengdu Better City Investment Group Co., Ltd.[1] on the ashes of the disbanded Chengdu Qbao.

They modified their title to Chengdu Rongcheng F.C. prior to the 2021 campaign.

Upon defeating Dalian Pro 2-1 on total in the promotion/relegation play-offs, Chengdu was elevated to the Chinese Super League on January 12, 2022.

Jung-won Seo (2021-present)

Onetime football player and present coach Seo Jung-won was born in South Korea on December 17, 1970. He was also known as the “Nalssaendori,” which is South Korean for an agile man, and was a winger with lightning-quick pace.

Playing Career

At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Seo competed for South Korea’s under-23 team. During the game against Sweden, he scored a goal that struck the opposition’s goalpost.

Following his accomplishments in the Olympics, he allegedly received contracts from FC Barcelona and other major European clubs, however he chose to remain in South Korea to complete a two-year obligatory military duty.

At the 1994 FIFA World Cup, he also represented South Korea and netted the equalizer against Spain.

Seo yearned to compete in Europe upon completing his military duty with Sangmu FC, and even traveled to Germany and the Netherlands to take part in tryouts. Seo did join the senior team’s coaching team under manager Cho Kwang-rae in 2010. He joined the Suwon Samsung Bluewings coaching crew in 2012 and was named the team’s manager in 2013. Under his leadership, the Bluewings finished second in the league in 2014 and 2015 and earned the Korean FA Cup in 2016. A key K League rivalry between FC Seoul and Suwon Samsung Bluewings was involved in the FA Cup Final.

When FC Seoul equalized the two-leg total score at 3-3 with a goal in the 93rd min, the game entered additional time. Suwon Samsung Bluewings prevailed 10-9. Granero, José Carlos (2018-2020)

Career as a coach

Geng Xiaofeng is a Chinese football player who presently features for Chengdu Rongcheng in the Chinese Super League (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: Gng Xiofng; born 15 October 1987).

Club career

Geng Xiaofeng, who entered Shandong Luneng’s youth system in 2001 at the age of 14, eventually made it to the first team after being given a promotion by then-manager Ljubia Tumbakovi to fill in for Li Leilei and then Yang Cheng. He did not play for Shandong until the 2012 league season, when, on March 30, 2012, in a 1-0 victory over Qingdao Jonoon, then-manager Henk ten Cate eventually replaced Yang, who had made multiple errors in the club’s first 2 games, with Geng, who had an exceptional feat on his opening for the team. For the remainder of the 2012 season and the 2013 season, Geng was the team’s first-choice goalkeeper.

On February 24, 2014, Geng was loaned to Shanghai Shenhua of the Chinese Super League for the remainder of the 2014 campaign. On March 9, 2014, he earned his club appearance in a 2-0 victory over Shanghai Shenxin. Geng committed to Shanghai on December 29, 2014, as a long-term transfer. When Li Shuai came into the team in 2016, he was relegated to the backup position.

Geng signed a five-year deal in February 2017 to join fellow Super League team Hebei China Fortune, however owing to a shortage of transfer quotas, he was forced to play the 2017 season with the Hebei club’s backup team. He earned his club appearance on October 27, 2018, in a 3-2 victory over Dalian Yifang at home.

Xin Tang

A right-footed left-back in the Chinese Super League for Chengdu Rongcheng, Tang Xin (Chinese: ; pinyin: Táng Xn; born 16 October 1990) is a Chinese football player.

Club Work Experience

At the age of 12, Tang Xin and his twin brother Tang Miao enrolled in Beijing Guoan’s academy system in 2002.

For the 2006 season, he was listed with Liaoning Zhongba of China League 2. He was loaned to Beijing Guoan Talent, a satellite team of Beijing Guoan that would compete in Singapore’s S. League as an international team in the 2010 campaign. For the majority of the season, Tang sat on the sidelines. In response to certain Beijing players being suspended for their involvement in a brawl during a league game against Young Lions, he earned his senior appearance against Gombak United on Sept 27, 2010, replacing Li Tixiang at half – time. The game ended in a 1-1 tie after Tang netted his first goal.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Beijing Guoan freed him.

Upon recovering from ankle operation, Tang signed with Jiangxi Liansheng of China League Two in 2012.

In 2016, Tang joined Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng of China League One. On March 19, 2016, he earned his Guizhou appearance in a 3-1 road loss to Qingdao Huanghai.

He participated in 23 games for Guizhou Zhicheng in the 2016 campaign, which saw them emerge as league runners-up and gain advancement to the Chinese Super League. In a 3-1 away win over Guangzhou R&F on April 28, 2017, he earned his Super League appearance with Tang Miao.

The twins represented rival sides in the Chinese Super League for the first occasion in this game.

Jianbin Li

Li Jianbin, a Chinese football player who presently serves as a defender for Chengdu Rongchen, was born on April 19, 1989 (Chinese: ; pinyin: L Jiànbn; Mandarin pronunciation: [l tjn.pn]).

Club work experience

Early years

Li Jianbin began his football profession in 2001 while playing for the academy system of Qingdao Beilaite. In 2006, Shanghai Stars became interested in Li Jianbin after noticing his outstanding athletic ability. He was unable to make the first squad and made the decision to transfer to Qingdao Hailifeng, a team in the same division, where he once more invested the majority of his time competing for their young academy.

Blades of Chengdu

Li signed on with Chengdu Blades of the 2nd tier in May 2007. He was soon transferred to Sheffield United of the club’s satellite team in the Hong Kong First Division League, where he featured 5 matches and did score once. Li made his club debut for Chengdu on July 5, 2009, in a league match against Shandong Luneng that resulted in a 2-1 victory. Chengdu had advanced to the top tier by the time Li returned from his loan period. When the season was nearly over, manager Wang Baoshan continued to have a great deal of confidence in the young player and enabled him to participate in 9 more league matches.

Guangzhou Evergrande

On Dec 26, 2011, Li, Zhao Xuri, Rong Hao, and also Peng Xinli all moved to Guangzhou Evergrande.

On May 11, 2012, he earned his club appearance in a 3-1 loss at Dalian Shide on the road. Li however struggled to make an impression on the first squad and spent the majority of his time competing for the club’s backup squad. During the 2012 league season, he only played once for Guangzhou.

As part of an arrangement for Feng Renliang’s handover to Guangzhou Evergrande with the choice of purchasing at the conclusion of the season, Li was loaned to Shanghai Shenhua on Nov 20, 2012, for the 2013 league campaign. Upon being unable to secure a starting position at Guangzhou Evergrande, Li hence made a permanent trade to fellow Chinese Super League team Shanghai Shenhua on December 4, 2014. He earned his club appearance on March 8, 2015, in a 6-2 victory over Shanghai Shenxin. On July 3, 2016, in a 3-0 win over Changchun Yatai, he netted his maiden goal for Shanghai.

Professional Dalian

Li however moved to Dalian Professional on February 13, 2019.
On March 3, 2019, against Henan Jianye, he would earn his league appearance in a 1-1 tie.

Li was transferred to the backup squad the next year and given permission to leave for Chengdu Rongcheng, a club in the 2nd division, where he earned his league appearance on August 11, 2021, defeating Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard 6-0. At the conclusion of the 2021 league season, the club was promoted to the first division, and he would go on to distinguish himself as a crucial member of the squad.

International Work Experience

Li was selected to play for the Chinese under-23 national team in the 2010 Asian Games, where he participated in 3 matches and scored one goal before China was eliminated in the round of 16. Li achieved advancement with Chengdu Blades and proved himself during a successful league season a few months afterwards, and he was immediately called up to the Chinese national squad preliminary group in time for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup.

Surprisingly Li made the squad after fellow player Feng Xiaoting got hurt, notwithstanding having no prior senior international exposure and having played for a 2nd Division team. He would later make his informal international premiere against Iraq on January 2, 2011, which China did win 3-2.

F.C. Guangzhou

A competitive Chinese football team, Guangzhou Football Club, previously Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club, competes in the Chinese Super League with permission from the Chinese Football Association. The squad is headquartered in Guangzhou, Guangdong, and the Tianhe Stadium, which has a 54,856 occupancy, serves as their home field. The Evergrande Real Estate Group (56.71%) and the e-commerce firm Alibaba Group (37.81%) are their largest shareholders, while its remaining shares are listed in the Chinese OTC market.

The club was established in 1954, and before going professional in 1993, it won a number of second-tier championships. Their performance rose, earning them a place as runners-up in China’s top division. Atlético Mineiro of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A stated on June 30, 2010, that Guangzhou had paid a Brazilian record sum of 23 million to recruit Muriqui to a four-year contract.

Following defeating Hunan Billows 3-1 on October 30, 2010, Guangzhou won League One for a 2nd occasion and moved back to the Super League.

With the acquisition of Brazilian Cléo and Argentine Dario Conca during the 2011–12 campaign, Guangzhou Evergrande greatly bolstered their team.

At the age of 10, Browning did join Everton in 2004. Prior to actually entering Everton, he spent his first 8 months working for the native team. Browning started playing for Everton’s backup team after moving up through the youth ranks, where he eventually established himself as a regular. In the 2010–11 season, he then assisted Everton Reserves in capturing the U18 Premier League championship.

Browning grew at the club’s backup, where he spent his entire time playing right-back for the team. As he advances, Browning will also wear the captain’s armband for the team’s backups. At the club’s end-of-season awards ceremony for the 2013–14 season, Browning was named the Under-21s Player of the Season.

He received his first call-up to the first team on December 30, 2012, when Everton fell to Chelsea 2-1 and he was an inactive replacement.

In Nov 2016, as Everton U23 fell to Norwich City 4-1 in the Premier League Cup, Browning played 45 mins following a protracted absence from the field. In a subsequent encounter, Browning made his final outing for the club, starting the entire match as a right-back as Wigan Athletic fell to Doncaster Rovers 3-0.

He then went back to his parent team, Everton.

On July 8, 2017, Browning signed a one-year contract to play for demoted Sunderland, where he was reconnected with manager Simon Grayson after the two had played together at Preston North End. Dalian Professional Football Club

Located in Dalian, Liaoning, the Dalian Professional Football Club is a pro Chinese football team that competes in the China Super League with permission from the Chinese Football Association (CFA). Their home field is the 61,000-seat Dalian Sports Center Stadium.

The team was reinstituted by Dalian Aerbin Group Company, Ltd. on September 20, 2009, and it began play in China League Two, the 3rd division of the Chinese football hierarchy. After claiming two straight league championships in competitive football’s 2nd and 3rd tiers, they were moved to the top division for the 2012 Chinese Super League season, where they finished fifth, their highest-ever finish. They were demoted from the Chinese Super League in 2014. However they changed their name to Dalian Yifang Football Club in December 2015.

They improved greatly and secured the Chinese League One championship in October 2017. Dalian Professional Football Club was rebranded from Dalian Yifang Football Club on May 25, 2019, and a new logo was presented on January 21, 2020.

Dalian Professional’s Past F.C.

Club heritage

(2009–2014) Dalian Aerbin

A new full – time football team called Dalian Aerbin (Chinese: ) was founded on September 20, 2009, and onetime Chinese footballer Li Ming was recruited as the club manager by Dalian Aerbin Group Co. Ltd. Aerbin, the name of the club, is a Manchu word that means “a place with water.” It is also the name of a modest town in Dalian’s Jinzhou District where Dalian Aerbin Group Co. Ltd is situated. They would shortly relocate to the Dalian University Stadium in the Dalian Development Area, where they would hire Sun Xianlu as their head coach and Chi Shangbin as their comanager.

The team had their public appearance in the 2010 China League Two season, playing in the 3rd division league. Guo Hui, Chang Lin, and Yang Lin, three well-known top-tier Chinese Super League talents, were recruited by the team. The caliber of these players assisted the team in defeating Tianjin Songjiang to claim the league trophy as well as the club’s regional division section.

For the commencement of the 2013 Chinese Super League, the onetime Dalian Shide manager Xu Hong was appointed in an effort to ensure a smooth merger of the 2 teams. In the 2019 campaign, the team and the Wanda Group tried to increase their dominance. Marek Hamak, a player from Napoli, joined the club in February 2019 for a disclosed price of about €20 million (£18 million/$23 million). Dalian Yifang however modified their identity to Dalian Professional on January 21, 2020.

Xie Hui is an ex official Chinese football player who is now the head coach of Dalian Professional (simplified Chinese: ; traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: Xiè Hu; born February 14, 1975 in Shanghai).

Xie Hui played for Shanghai Shenhua for the bulk of his tenure, spending time with them on multiple occasions and helping the team win the Chinese league and Chinese FA Cup. During his work life, he also played for German teams Alemannia Aachen, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, and SV Wehen Wiesbaden in addition to Chongqing Lifan. Xie Hui began playing football professionally in 1994 with Shanghai Shenhua. Xie Hui moved to 2nd Bundesliga club Alemannia Aachen in January 2000 upon dominating for 6 seasons with Shenhua in the late 1990s. Here he earned one top-tier league championship and a Chinese FA Cup.

Xie Hui led Aachen in scoring in the 2000–01 season with 14 goals in twenty–four league games. After scoring just once in 13 outings the subsequent season, Xie Hui returned to Shanghai Shenhua on loan in March 2002 in an effort to maintain his spot on the China national football team and earn more first team exposure. When his loan period was through, he moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the German 2nd division, but in 2003, Xie Hui returned to China to compete for Chongqing Lifan upon scoring just once in 8 league games for Greuther Fürth.

He returned to Shenhua for the 3rd period in December 2004 on a full time basis, where he once more revitalized his profession. But upon 2 years with Shenhua, Xie returned to Germany when he signed an 18-month agreement with SV Wehen Wiesbaden, a second-tier German club, on January 1, 2008. On January 6, 2009, Xie would make another trip back to Shenhua for a testimonial after his deal expired. Following the match, he declared his retirement from football, and soon afterwards, he was hired as Shenhua’s assistant manager.

As an assistant coach, he was employed with Shanghai SIPG Football Club.

A leaked clip of Xie Hui eating with coworkers on August 18, 2021, when he was the manager of Nantong Zhiyun, exposed his contentious remarks about the administration and coaching employee of rival teams.

Afterwards, Nantong Zhiyun dismissed him.

He apologized for his remarks and then gave up his position as manager of the team.

Xie Hui was hence chosen to lead Dalian Professional on March 19, 2022.

Zhang Chong (footballer)

Zhang Chong, a competitive Chinese football player who handles goalkeeping for Dalian Professional in the Chinese Super League, was born on Nov 25, 1987 (Chinese: ; pinyin: Zhng Chng).

Club work experience

Zhang Chong joined Dalian Shide F.C.’s senior team at the start of the 2005 Chinese Super League season upon graduating from their youth squad. But, he would not make his senior premiere for Dalian until the 2009 Chinese Super League season, when they lost 3-1 to Qingdao Jonoon on October 31, 2009.

Club Work Experience

Wu Wei was moved to Hangzhou Greentown’s first team players in the summer of 2015. Although he wouldn’t make his senior appearance until 12 March 2017, when his team defeated Nei Mongol Zhongyou 3-2 at home in a league match.

At the conclusion of the 2017 regular season, he participated in 16 league games for the team. He then caught the attention of Tianjin Quanjian of the Chinese Super League. Here he eventually made a transfer on February 28, 2018.
