Our Dream:

The foundation of the AZ Premier Basketball program is the idea of collaborative effort between college and high school coaches with a track record of success and integrity. Our attitude and main focus are on imparting sound basketball basics to students. For girls of all ages, AZ Premier was founded to offer a year-round basketball program with top-notch teaching. Our teams play in regional and national competitions. It helps our players go to the next level while exposing them to college programs.

Arizona Premier Basketball’s goal is to give young student-athletes the chance to practice basketball and social skills in a competitive setting that will help them reach their objectives.

Tournaments

To provide players the most exposure, Arizona Premier teams compete in NCAA watching tournaments. We also try to assist the local basketball scene in Arizona by taking part in activities there.

SESSIONS FOR SKILLS TRAINING

Sessions for improving and mastering appropriate basketball fundamentals are a main focus of Arizona Premier Basketball skill development. Some of our daily class objectives include hand-eye coordination, dexterity, ball handling, various parts of shooting methods, passing, finishing, and offensive/defensive principles.

A non-profit organization under IRS code 501 C-3 is Arizona Premier Girls Basketball. Our goal is to offer a resource so that all of our athletes can afford to play competitive basketball. They then have more concrete options on how to pay for a college degree as a result. Partnerships, sponsorships, and donations are all actively sought after. There is no amount of help, time, or money that is too small for us. Please assist us in changing things. I’m grateful.

TEAM ARIZONA PREMIER

DIVISION FOR NATIONAL

1. Teams in the high school National Division compete continuously from the start of September to the end of July. No AZ Premier Basketball team competition is planned during the months of November, December, January, February, and June because those months are all allocated for the Arizona Interscholastic Association season of play.

2. All six NCAA viewing tournaments, including the Nike Nationals in Chicago and the USJN Nationals in Washington, D.C., are on the schedules of National Division teams.

3. National Division teams must register twice a year: once in September for the NCAA viewing event in the autumn and once in March for the spring and summer schedule.

4. Teams at the 15U and 16U levels are fielded.

5. The player’s package includes insurance, gym costs, team practices, team workouts on non-playing weekends, tournament entry costs, flights and transportation, out-of-state hotel rooms, the player’s college recruiting profile, coach costs, and Nike uniform apparel.

TRIP DIVISION

1. Teams in the high school Travel Division compete continuously from the start of September to the end of July. No AZ Premier Basketball team competition is planned during the months of November, December, January, February, and June because those months are all allocated for the Arizona Interscholastic Association season of play.

2. Five local tournaments and four out-of-state events are on the Travel Division teams’ schedules (mostly in the southwest of the United States).

3. Teams in the Travel Division must register twice a year: once in March for the spring and summer schedule and once in September for the fall NCAA viewing event.

4. Teams at the 15U level (often comprised of freshmen and sophomores) and 17U level are fielded (generally juniors and seniors).

5. The player’s package covers uniform equipment, insurance, gym costs, team practices, group workouts on non-playing weekends, tournament entrance costs, out-of-state hotel rooms, and coach costs.

DIVISION FOR LOCAL

1. From the beginning of March to the end of May, teams in the high school Local Division compete.

2. Five AZ tournaments are on the teams’ schedules for the Local Division.

3. Each year, at the start of March, teams in the local division can register for the spring and summer schedule.

4. Teams at the 15U level (often comprised of freshmen and sophomores) and 17U level are fielded (generally juniors and seniors).

5. The player’s package includes uniform equipment, insurance, gym fees, team practices, group exercise classes on non-playing weekends, and tournament entrance fees.

DIVISION FOR YOUTHS

Youth basketball teams from AZ Premier Basketball compete in the fall, winter, and spring seasons.

1. Local youth leagues and tournaments make up the majority of the Youth Division programs.

2. Teams in the Youth Division can register at the beginning of each playing season.

3. Teams are fielded according to grade levels: 5th–6th and 7th–8th.

4. The player’s package includes league participation, uniform equipment, team practices, gym fees, and skill development sessions.

Arizona’s Southwest Premier Basketball

The best year-round basketball program in Southwest is called Southwest Premier Basketball.

Take Up Playing

The largest youth basketball league in the state is Southwest Premier Youth Basketball.

Arizona has one of the nation’s quickest growing basketball leagues. Boys and girls ages 6 to 18 can play and learn baseball through the WPYBL. All workouts, contests, and activities are hosted at significant neighborhood locations across Metro Phoenix. During the season, teams will take part in league-wide scrimmages on the weekends as well as developmental practices (often twice a week). Teams participating in tournaments will hold additional practices on weekdays and on Saturdays, and one or two tournaments are scheduled for January, February, March, and April. From November to March, games are played Monday through Friday in the evenings; from April to June, games are played on Saturdays. Teams will form after the Autumn 2017 evaluations, therefore all teams should try out together this fall.

What Is The League’s Process?

Basketball is a frantic sport that features full-court games, scrimmages, and drills. All players will have the chance to develop since players will be divided into age groups and skill levels. Players enjoy themselves while learning how to play with teamwork and excellent sportsmanship even though there are no officials or referees present. Age-focused officials are present at every game to give players the confidence and preparation they need. When is the registration?

Children between the ages of 4 and 18 can participate in year-round programs at Southwest Premier Youth Sports Complex. Typically, practices last two hours per week, and games take place on Saturdays or Sundays during the season (off-season).
